1-99 Dungeoneering Guide

1-99 Dungeoneering

Dungeoneering is a skill you should only train after training others or mastering other skills in RuneScape 3. This is because training your Dungeoneering skill heavily relies on using most other skills. However, you can choose not to select all of the skills, but the number of skills you pick when starting a dungeon floor and the number of players you're partying up with will heavily influence your XP per hour. Getting Started Dungeoneering

Before you start Dungeoneering, you should have high combat stats, and ideally, you should also have high levels in at least the following skills.

  • Defense
  • Herblore
  • Runecrafting
  • Prayer
  • Magic

This is because the higher your combat skill is, the easier the combat part of Dungeoneering will be, and the more defense you have; naturally, you'll take less damage. Herblore is useful for potions that can give you various stats-boosting effects that will make you even more efficient. You'll need at least 43 Prayer to use protection prayers and curses, essential for the damage you take and deal.

The magic level is needed to create gatestones and group gatestones teleports; levels 32 and 64 are the milestones you must keep in mind. The runecraft skill is important because it will allow you to deal with skill doors and create runes.

To start Dungeoneering, you will need to go to Daemonheim. To get there, take a ship from Al-Kharid or Taverley and speak to the Dungeoneering tutor to obtain your ring of kinship. You can then use the ring of kinship to teleport to Daemonheim whenever you want.

To start a dungeon, you will need to go through a portal. While there are several portals, you should use the south ones because you can choose both your party and the dungeon floor out of the 60 possible. The bigger the floor number, the bigger your Dungeoneering level required to access the floor. Besides the skill level requirement, you must have completed the previous floor of the dungeon at least once to access the following one.

As a free-to-play player, you will need to use the free2play portal. Before doing so, you should ensure your account has unlocked a few items to help you. For example, you should obtain the Gorajan trailblazer or the warped Gorajan trailblazer outfit for an XP boost and some quality-of-life upgrades, such as not slipping on ice floors or skipping a puzzle. Another great item you should get as soon as you can is the scroll of quick teleportation.

You should also stack up on some Dungeoneering wild cards to get even more XP boosts, but you should only use them for deep levels since they will give you a lot more XP. You will need level 64 Magic and 60 Attack, and 54 Runecraft to be efficient. The best bind you can use in free2play can only be obtained as a member and is the Thigat staff, Soulbell orb, and a two-handed Argonite weapon.

Before Floor 35

The first thing you'll need to do is unlock 35 prestige and complexity 6. You must run floor 1 small dungeons at complexity 1 solo until you unlock complexity 6. Afterward, go through all the floors in small solos until you cannot access the following level, and then reset from floor 1 until you hit floor 35.

After Floor 35

After you unlock floor 35, you can either raid solo in small and medium dungeons or do 5-way raids solo or with a team.

For Members

If you’re a member, you must first unlock Complexity 6. However, as a member, you’ll have access to more items that can prove extremely useful for Dungeoneering. For example, Gorajo cards can bring you a lot of beneficial effects, or the Dungeoneering Lock Melter will help you unlock one door you didn’t have the skill to open. There are also auras, the Perfect Juju Dungeoneering potion, and the Perfect Juju Herblore potion, giving you even more beneficial effects.

As a member, you will also be able to complete a few quests that will award Dungeoneering XP and have some different binds; however, it is best to use a mixture of equipment that will give you all of the three combat styles.

  • For levels 1 to 33, you should run small complexity 6 dungeons from floors 1 to 17.
  • For levels 33-57, you should run small complexity 6 dungeons from floors 1 to 17 and complexity 6 mediums from floors 18 to 29.
  • For levels 57-79, you should run small complexity 6 dungeons from floors 1 to 30 and complexity 6 mediums from floors 31 to 40
  • For levels 79-91, you should run small complexity 6 dungeons from floors 1 to 30 and complexity 6 medium or large dungeons from floors 31 to 46

For levels 91 to 99 or 120, you should run small complexity 6 dungeons from floors 1 to 30 and complexity 6 medium or large dungeons fr
