How to Get Your Let's Go Items/Pokémon?

Step 1: Choose an offer. To purchase anything from our site, you’ll first need to register. It's free and will only take a moment.

Step 2: Message the seller through our on-site messenger. Agree on a time to go online, exchange trainer names, and prepare Pokémon to trade with. Due to the Link Code feature, you’ll also need to agree on a combination of three Pokémon as a code. This makes trainer names more important, as there might be other players who happen to use the same combination.

Step 3: Go online at the agreed upon time. Input the code. Make sure you matched with the correct trainer! Trade your Pokémon. Take note that you need an active Nintendo Online service to be able to trade with others.

Step 4: Confirm delivery once the trade is done.

Step 5: Enjoy your shiny new Pokémon or items!

How Many Pokémon are there in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, Anyway?

Technically, all Pokémon from the Kanto region can be obtained both in-game as well as by transferring them from Pokémon Go. In-game only, there's only about 139 or so available Pokémon to catch. There are version exclusive Pokémon, so you're going to have to trade or transfer from Go to complete all of them. The exception is Mew, which can only be obtained in one way for this game.

Pokémon Let's Go Shiny Hunting Mechanics

Shiny Pokémon are rare, differently-colored Pokémon. They're mostly for aesthetic purposes or bragging rights. They don't have any other special characteristics other than their unique coloration. They're so rare, some players may have gone through Pokémon games without seeing a single one outside online battles. The chances of encountering one are 1 in 4,096. This is constant no matter how many encounters you've already gone through.

Don't worry, there are ways to increase your chances of encountering a shiny Pokémon. First is the Shiny Charm. Once you've caught all 150 Pokémon (Mew, Meltan, and Melmetal aren't included), go to Celadon City and talk to the game director to get your Shiny Charm. It doubles your chance to encounter a shiny, from 1 in 4,096 to 1 in 2,048.

The second method is to use a Lure. Combining the effects of a Lure and Charm would result in 1 in 1,024 odds of encountering a shiny. Any kind of lure would result in the same odds, the difference is only in duration. The last method is through Catch Combos. Catching multiple same species of Pokémon in a row increases the combo. At 31+ combo, the odds become 1 in 273 with the effects of the above methods. It takes patience and a steady hand to get to that point, so keep trying!

Pokémon Let's Go Shiny Starter

Unfortunately for those who want their partner Pokémon to be shiny, it's impossible. The partner Pikachu/Eevee you get in the start will never be shiny, no matter how many times you reset. You can, however, find and capture shiny versions of the original three starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. The above methods can help with that. Catch Combos are especially effective in increasing the likelihood of the starters appearing. Take note that your combo will end when you catch a Pokémon that's not the focus of the combo, and you have to start again from scratch. If you're aiming for a shiny starter, be patient and wait for those to appear.

With these methods, getting that shiny Gengar will be a cinch. Or you can just buy them through sellers here at PlayerAuctions. We provide a safe, reliable, and convenient, way for you to get Pokémon Let’s Go items, plus our customer service is top-notch. Have fun!

FAQ

PlayerAuctions makes it safe to buy from our members by securing your payment and guaranteeing delivery.

How does it work?

  • Buyer creates order and send payment to PlayerAuctions
  • PlayerGuardian secures payment
  • Seller completes delivery within delivery guarantee
  • Buyer confirm delivery
  • Seller receives disbursement

How will the seller deliver?

Option 1: In-game, Face to Face Delivery

Sellers will select this method of delivery if they intend to meet your character in-game with one of their own characters. Usually a seller will coordinate a time and location in-game to meet your character.

Tips:

  • Be sure to confirm the time to account for time zone differences
  • Confirm which Shard or Server the delivery is to take place in case your game world has more than one.
  • Never, under any circumstances, return gold, item, etc. to the delivery character if ever asked. In the event the seller asks you to, please take A screenshot and report this to PlayerAuctions Customer Support.

Option 2: In-game Mailbox delivery.

Some sellers will select the option to deliver gold or items directly to an in-game mailbox. This option is less popular for larger Games like WoW, but is still viable amongst other games. This option can be convenient for smaller orders because you do not need to coordinate time of delivery.

Why should I buy on PlayerAuctions?

Low Prices: Prices set by other players or PowerSellers on PlayerAuctions are significantly lower than the high markups you would find on expensive retail sites.

Reliable Delivery Speed: PlayerAuctions calculates each seller's average delivery speed from the seller's latest successfully completed deliveries, which gives you a clear idea of how fast the seller will deliver your order.

After I send payment, when will the seller deliver?

To see how quickly the seller may deliver your order, refer to the seller's delivery guarantee period, which is their promise to complete delivery within a certain timeframe after your payment is securely sent to PlayerAuctions and is successfully verified. Each seller sets their delivery guarantee period independent of PlayerAuctions. In the event that the seller is not able to complete the delivery within their guaranteed time, you may cancel the order without penalty for a hassle-free refund from PlayerAuctions.

What if the seller doesn’t deliver?

About pokemon lets go Items

How to Get Mew in Pokémon Let's Go?

There's only one way to get Mew in Let's Go, and that is to buy the Poké Ball Plus accessory and download it from there. You can check if the accessory has Mew by pressing and holding the control stick button and then releasing it. The ring around the stick should glow pink/purple and you'll hear it laughing. The glow should flash about every second as well, as long as the transfer hasn't happened yet. You can also shake the controller to hear the laugh.

To download Mew, launch the game and use the accessory as the controller. Press the top button to open the in-game menu. Select ‘Communicate'. If it's greyed out, play up to the part after you defeat your rival the first time. The option should be available then. From the Communicate sub-menu, choose ‘Mystery Gifts' then ‘Get with a Poké Ball Plus'. Make sure you're using the Poké Ball controller as it will not work if not. A message that says, ‘A Pokémon is in your Poké Ball Plus. It's a present for you!' Select ‘Yes' twice, and you'll receive the present. Once you've received the gift, it will be in your box and you can add it to your party.

Remember, you can only transfer Mew to a copy of Let's Go ONLY ONCE. If you decide to delete or restart your game after you've transferred, it will be deleted with the rest of your data. Make sure you won't reset after downloading Mew, else it'll be gone forever.

How to Get Meltan in Pokémon Let's Go?

Getting Meltan is slightly easier than getting Mew, as you don't need to buy an accessory. All you have to do is to connect a Pokémon Go account to a copy of Pokémon Let's Go. Then transfer a pokémon from the former to the latter. The Switch account has to have reached Go Park in Fuchsia City to be able to do this. Once a pokémon has been transferred, you will receive an item in Go. The item, the Mystery Box, will let you encounter and catch Meltan when used. Catch one, and you can transfer it into Let's Go easy.

The Mystery Box is permanent on your Pokémon Go account. It can only be used once a week. When the week has ended, transfer a pokémon again and you'll be able to use the item. Meltan will evolve with 400 Meltan Candies, so catch as many as you can! Since transferring only works one way, a Meltan transferred into Let's Go cannot evolve. You're going to have to transfer one Meltan and one Melmetal if you're obsessive about completing the Pokédex.

Enjoy Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee!
