Event Pokemon for Sale
Event only Pokemon are more difficult to catch since they’re only available for a limited time. As a result, some trainers just opt to buy Event Pokemon instead. These events can span for as long as a few weeks or as short as a few days. Either way, once an event in Pokemon Go has ended, that’s that.qSELL
Why Participating in Pokemon Go Events is Important
There are always new kinds of Pokemon coming in Pokemon Go. Some of them come in the form of eggs, while others can only be caught through Raid Battles. There are many different methods of catching certain Pokemon in the beloved mobile game and depending on what type it is, trainers will have to learn how to adapt and put in the work needed to have the chance to encounter that Pokemon. Events are a common occurrence in Pokemon Go, so much so that there are always new events planned every month. There’s a lot for trainers to get in these events such as bonus experience points, legendary points, and even costumed Pokemon that they won’t get to see anywhere else. This is why it is important to be as active as possible and to know the latest events that are currently ongoing and being planned for the next following months.
Some Pokemon Go events happen almost every other month or so, while some have no chance of coming back to the game again. Most of the events that very rarely get reintroduced in Pokemon Go again are usually the ones that give out a different variant of a Legendary Pokemon or Shiny Pokemon. A prime example of this would be the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event that was held on February 20, 2021 and lasted for just 12 hours. During the event, players were able to catch the first 150 Pokemon that was originally released in their Shiny variants. This means that all of the Kanto-only Pokemon were available as Shinies! Trainers will also get to participate in a second-event exclusive of the tour where they can discover a Shiny Mew. At the end of the day, Pokemon Go won’t be running out of events anytime soon. Since Niantic has been coming up with three or four of these creative events per month, the trainers are sure to be busy trying to participate in all of them.
Often, once an event has ended, there’s no way to get those specific Pokemon again, much to the dismay of those who forget to or are unable to participate. That’s why some trainers out there who miss out on an event might choose to buy event Pokemon instead.
The Best Events in Pokemon Go Worth Participating In
It’s understandable to not be able to go to all of the events that are being held almost weekly at this point. Not everyone has ample spare time, after all. For the trainers that are only able to participate in a few events every month, they ought to look for the best events that they can join in to get their time’s worth in playing the game. Here are some of the events in Pokemon Go that every trainer should know about:
The Pokemon Go Halloween Event
Halloween is arguably the best time of the year, and what better way to celebrate it than to join in on the spookiness in Pokemon Go? In this event, trainers will be able to encounter spooky and scary Pokemon (mainly Ghost-type Pokemon) and participate in Halloween-themed raid battles. In 2020, the event had two research questlines that trainers can complete to get a Mega Gengar candy. It’s safe to say that the Halloween event will stick around in Pokemon Go, so trainers can expect to see it pop up on the list of events that will be held during that time every year. It’s still unsure whether the quests and rewards will stay the same as the last few years, but trainers can expect new questlines and Ghost-type Pokemon to encounter should Niantic decide to take a creative spin on an otherwise common event.
Detective Pikachu Event
After snooping around, the Detective Pokemon has managed to find their way to Pokemon Go! The Detective Pikachu event was one for the books. In this event, players get to go to Detective Pikachu-themed Raid Battles and buy all sorts of avatar items that are, of course, following the theme of the movie “Detective Pikachu”. The best is that trainers can catch the sleuthing mouse Pokemon! It was also the perfect time to farm experience points because of all the Double Catch XP Bonus that was added to the event.
The March Research Breakthrough Encounter
The March Research Breakthrough Encounter event is the perfect event to beef up a trainer’s Pokedex. In this event, players can join in on five-star raids that will be appearing throughout March 2021. Trainers will be able to encounter five Legendary Pokemon: Incarnate Forme Landorus, Incarnate Forme Thundurus, Incarnate Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Tornadus, and Therian Forme Thundurus. There’s also a chance to go head-to-head with their shiny versions, except for Therian Forme Thundurus and Tornadus.
