The Immortal Syndicate is one of the more profitable contents in Path of Exile, especially those in the mapping stage. The Betrayal mechanic gives us a wide array of loot depending on which member we interact with in certain operations. The loot table for the Syndicate gets adjusted every new League, so we might see some agents become more profitable than others. This guide will show each member's operations to maximize your loot and profit.

Syndicate/Betrayal Mechanic Overview
The Immortal Syndicate League was added a few years back, and it’s still one of the better mechanics in terms of profitability. The whole mechanic relies on Exiles to encounter Syndicate members in various operations. Once you defeat the agents in that area and stop their ongoing activities, you will be prompted on what to do with them. The Syndicate has four different operations, which are:
- Transportation: Defeat Syndicate members escorting a caravan before it reaches its destination (You fail this mission if the troop reaches the final spot)
- Fortification: Defeat all Syndicate members guarding a fort (You cannot fail this mission)
- Research: Defeat all Syndicate members before all evidence caches are destroyed (You fail this mission if they succeed in destroying all pieces of evidence)
- Intervention: Defeat all Syndicate members trying to assassinate you (You fail this mission if you get killed)
Doing these activities will generate intelligence on specific warehouses for each operation. Once you fill-up the meter, you can raid these places, defeat the captain for that node, and receive tons of loot. You also gain intelligence for the leader of the Syndicate after defeating the warehouse captains. Once you get enough info on the head of the organization, you can fight him and get his loot-specific drops.
Syndicate/Betrayal Loot Table
Each agent has different types of drops depending on which operation they belong to or fall under. If you can manipulate which activity each member will work in, you can maximize the profit you gain doing Syndicate runs. You can change where each Syndicate member falls depending on your interaction with them. Bargaining with them can make them shift from one operation to another. Before forcing them into another activity, consult this table to see what loot you can get from them. Otherwise, you can always interrogate them to gain intelligence points on warehouses.
