Palworld Faleris Location and How to Get the Best Fire Bird

Many players have seen other people mounted on a big flaming bird that can scorch anything with its fiery breath. The Felaris is one of the best Fire Pals Tamers can get in Palworld, but it’s not easy to acquire due to its isolated location. This guide will provide players with the area and best ways to get this aerial Pal.

Felaris Overview

Felaris is considered an S-tier Pal and one of the best Fire Pals in the game. Its top three skills you can unlock at levels 30, 40, and 50 can deal 100+ power damage. While they may not be the fastest mounts, they are among the top offensive aerial Pals. Here are all the skills that Felaris has in its kit:

• Scorching Predator (Partner Skill) - Allows players to ride Felaris and increase the drops of Ice Pals when fighting together.
• Ignis Blast (Level 1) - Launches a massive fireball at enemies for 30 power damage
• Flare Arrow (Level 7) - Attacks with three flaming arrows that follow enemies for 55 power damage
• Spirit Fire (Level 15) - Launches fireballs at enemies that explode after a few seconds to release smaller fireballs for 45 power damage
• Ignis Breath (Level 22) - Breathes continuous flame at enemies for 70 power damage.
• Phoenix Flare (Level 30) - Envelops the body with swirling flame before charging at enemies for 135 power damage.
• Ignis Rage (level 40) - Charges up the surrounding ground to cause a massive explosion after a few seconds for 120 power damage.
• Fire Ball (Level 50) - Launches a massive fireball at enemies that causes a vast AoE explosion for 150 power damage.

Aside from being one of the strongest Pals in the game, Felaris is also one of the best in Kindling. This firebird has Level 3 Kindling and Level 3 Transporting, which makes it one of the highest in the game. Having this Pal on furnaces can significantly make smelting ores much faster.

Felaris Location

Felaris is a very rare Pals and cannot be found just anywhere. On top of this, its location is so isolated it can be hard to reach. Players can find this S-tier Fire Pal on the northeastern corner of the map beyond the Sand Dunes. The area should be east of Paladius, and Necramus spawn locations. The Deep Sand Dunes tower is the closest fast-travel location to this, and you will need to fly or ride a water-surfing Pal to get there. Fortunately, Felaris spawns during the day and night, so it doesn’t matter what time you reach the area. 

How to Beat and Catch Faleris

By this time, players should already have access to guns, so make sure to bring, at the very least, a handgun to the fight. An Assault Rifle is the ideal weapon to use for the fight. Regarding Pals, tamers should bring Water-type since Fire Pals are weak to this element. 

During the fight, make sure you have barriers or structures you can hide behind to block yourself from projectiles. Players should also make sure to keep their distance from Felaris. Once you bring its HP to 1/8 of its health, use Ultra Spheres or better to capture it. If you successfully tame one or defeat it, you also gain a Flame Organ.

Other Ways to Get Felaris

If you aren’t keen on traveling to the farthest corner of the map, there are other ways to get a Felaris. However, it doesn’t necessarily make them the easiest methods since they rely on multiple factors. Here are different ways to obtain a Felaris:

Defeating Marcus and Faleris Boss at the Tower of the PIDF

Challenging the PIDF boss is the surefire way of getting Faleris without traveling to the spawn location. You can find the PIDF tower on the west side of the Sand Dunes. However, gamers might find this more challenging than capturing a lone Faleris since this is a boss fight. The Pal would have a significantly higher HP and take several more hits than average. 

If you are low-leveled, it would be better to go for the one on the northeastern island. However, if you want to duke it out with Marcus and Faleris, be well-equipped for the fight. Bring several water Pals to the battle, and use an Assault Rifle if possible. 

Breeding Faleris

The safest way to get a Faleris is by breeding one. While this is a sure way to get this firebird, hatching the egg could take significantly longer due to the incubation time. Here is what you need to make a Faleris:

• Vanwyrm x Anubis

Hatching the egg from this pairing could take up to 72 hours (about three days) or more, so you shouldn’t do this if you don’t like waiting. In addition, the parents might be hard to capture. While Vanwyrms are relatively common, Anubis is one of the Legendary Pals in the game, which makes it very rare. You must catch one in the Sand Dunes or hatch one by breeding another pair of parents.
