Prime Wars is one of the game’s endgame modes, which requires the entire server population to participate in order to get powerful and valuable rewards. Since Prime War events are somewhat rare and can be difficult to pull off, players must understand the requirements to clear the event. How to join a Prime War
To participate in a Prime War, all you need to do is reach the highlighted event site on your map when it’s available. Each Prime War has a different level requirement, so make sure you’ve reached it to meet the DPS requisite. However, the event does have a player count limit, meaning not everyone can join in. Therefore, you’ll need to reach the event site as quickly as possible to secure a spot in the raid.
Every PvE server in Once Human will have a Prime War event scheduled at certain intervals, so if you miss your chance, you can try jumping to a different server to try your luck again.
How does a Prime War work?
In this event, there will be a massive world boss that spawns. Your objective is to stop the boss from reaching the Staroid Restrainer. If the boss succeeds in destroying the terminal, the event fails. The bosses that spawn in these events will be highly resistant to conventional weapons, so make sure to research any relevant weaknesses or ask your fellow Meta-Humans what its vulnerabilities are. The event lasts for 30 minutes, and once the time runs out, the event fails.
Prime War Great Ones will have a massive health pool and require the entire team to focus fire on it with their best possible weapons, as this event is essentially a DPS check.
What can I do to help?
In order to better protect the Staroid Restrainer, you and your team should build some barricades and other defensive structures to stall the boss. If you have the blueprints, try to assemble some Gatling Cannons, plasma bombs, and other heavy weapons, as using these will decrease the boss’s damage resistance.
You will also have to experiment with your shot placement when it comes to locating weakpoints. Usually, the Great Ones that spawn will have different weak spots that aren’t just the head. Due to its deep health reserves, try to bring out your best weapons, ammo quality, and Deviants with you at this event. Sniper rifles and assault rifles are ideal for Prime Wars, as the boss will spawn a good distance away from the Staroid Restrainer.
Make sure to stack up on food buffs that provide a bonus to weapon damage, as every bit of damage will help in bursting it down quickly. Some of the best recipes to make for this event are Shattered Bread, Stargazy Pie, and Bone-in Deviated Sausage for extra damage.
