Once Human is a free-to-play MMO survival game that places emphasis on story-driven content. Unlike most games in the genre, every little thing you unlock propels the story. In this article, we’ll look at one of these unlocks: the Rift Anchors.
What are Rift Anchors?
In Once Human, Rift Anchors are these locations near Monoliths that player must access to gain entry to bosses. These Rift Anchors are found all across the island of Nolcatt. Finding and activating all of them requires some grinding on your end as some require an item called a Realm Coordinate Segment which is usually dropped by enemies or found in chests.
Most objectives in the game will require you to activate Rift Anchors using the Realm Coordinate Segment. To do this, just drag the item to the Rift Anchor.
How to Unlock Rift Anchors
Rift Anchors can be unlocked after completing the island’s main mission(s) at which point, they’ll be marked in the world map with a quest marker. This means you must defeat the area’s main bosses to access the Monolith and its accompanying Rift Anchor. These can also be indicated in the game with a purple beam shooting up the sky.
After you encounter a Rift Anchor once you defeated the area’s boss, you must interact with it by accessing the Special tab in your Inventory.
