NetEase has launched the Spring Festival rewards track in Marvel Rivals for players looking to get new skins. To progress the reward tiers, you'll need to complete a series of challenges in the Clash of Dancing Lions game mode to earn the Spring Festival Star-Lord skin and other cosmetics. Here’s everything you can get for free in the Spring Festival event and how you can start earning them.
Completing Spring Festival Challenges
This event plays a lot like Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival, which also has you using certain heroes in quickplay or ranked mode. However, all the best rewards come from playing the new Clash of the Dancing Lions game mode. This game mode is similar to Overwatch’s Lucio Ball mode, where you and your team must push the ball to the enemy team’s goal.
To get the Lion’s Mane Star-Lord skin, you'll need 1000 Danqing, a currency you will earn as you complete challenges. Here are some of the challenges you will need to clear:
- Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match
- Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches
- Score 1 point in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match
Daily Challenges are also an alternative source of Danqing for the event, though they reward slightly less than the event challenges themselves. These are still the same generic missions used during Jeff’s Winter Splash, so you'll need to complete any of the following:
- Deal 15000 damage as randomly selected heroes
- Heal 25000 damage as selected Strategists
- Complete 10 matches
All Free Event Rewards
While the event places the Lion’s Gaze Iron Fist and Lion’s Heartbeat Black Widow skin bundles behind a paywall, you can still earn these rewards for free just by completing challenges. Here’s what you can expect to earn:
