Players can encounter two new Star Wars-based bosses along with the new weapons and battlepass skins. Darth Vader and Captain Phasma have become one of the most prominent target NPCs on the island. Fortnite Bosses: Darth Vader and Captain Phasma
Fortnite bosses are strong, formidable NPCs that drop fantastic loot after you defeat them. Generally, they're tanker mobs that pack more punch, but most players can solo them. However, the bosses for Season 3 Chapter 6 will present more challenges to gamers, so those eager to face both Vader and Phasma should ensure they've looted enough weapons to take them out.
Fortnite Bosses Locations
Darth Vader and Captain Phasma are located at the opposite corners of the map. These areas are close to hot drop locations and are sometimes highly contested. You'll have to choose your landing spots carefully if you want to survive long enough to get loot good enough to fight the two of them. Here are the locations of all Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 6 Bosses:
- Darth Vader: Vader Fortress (Southwest Corner of the Island).
- Captain Phasma: First Order Base (Northeast Snowy Corner of the Island). She'll be in the large hangar inside the mountain.
How to Beat Both Bosses
Captain Phasma is much easier to deal with than Vader, but teams of Stormtroopers accompany both. It's ideal to clear out these lesser hostiles before taking on the bosses. Here is how to beat each boss:
- Darth Vader: You must ensure you're fully shielded before taking him on, since he has a habit of running straight to you at full speed. He focuses mainly on heavy melee attacks that can easily deplete your armor. Never take him on in melee range; use your surroundings to keep your distance.
- Captain Phasma: The only threat in Phasma's arsenal is her explosives. As long as you keep moving, you'll be able to take her out with ease.
Defeating Darth Vader will drop you the red lightsaber, which can be thrown at enemies. Phasma has the F-11D Blaster, which deals significant damage. She also drops the Blaster Medallion, which reduces energy weapon cooldowns.
