Diablo 4’s Minions gained massive buffs in Season 7. These changes help players who main as summoner Necromancers. If you haven’t tried out the Necromancer class, Season 7 may be the time to do so. Here’s a complete guide to the Diablo 4 Season 7 Minions.
Minion Changes
Here’s a list of all the general changes.
- Minions can now Lucky Hit. Mage and Warriors have a 12% Chance, and Golems have a 20% Chance
- All summons count as player damage and will benefit effects that rely on player damage.
- Minions, Companions, Conjurations, Ancients, and the like will scale with the Summon tag.
- Minions Inherit 100% of your Stats and 100% of your Lucky Hit Chance.
Minion Skill Damage
Minions gained changes to their Skill Damage as well. Here are all the new Skill Damages.
Skeletal Warrior
- Skirmisher: 18%
- Defender: 18%
- Reaper: 18%
Skeletal Mage
- Shadow: 52%
- Cold: 52%
- Bone: 78%
Golem
- Bone: 77% (Passive: 123%)
- Blood: 77% (Active: 140%)
- Iron: 77% (Active: 200%)
Necromancer Skills Changes
Necromancer Skills received changes to help improve the use of Minions. Here are all the skills that were updated.
- Reaper’s Pursuit: For each Darkness Skill on your Skill Bar, gain 2% increased Movement Speed and 2% more damage.
- Amplify Damage: You deal 4% increased damage to Cursed and Feared enemies. These bonuses can stack.
- Hellbent Commander: While you control at least 7 Minions, gain 10% Summoning Damage.
- Coalesced Blood: You deal 6% increased damage while Healthy.
- Spiked Armor: Gain 40/80/120 Thorns, 5/10/15% Armor, and 10% Block Chance.
- Aspect of Redirected Force: Gain increased Critical Strike Damage equal to 30-70% of your Block Chance. Blocking doubles this bonus for 10 seconds.
- Unyielding Commander’s Aspect: While Army of the Dead is active, gain 70-110% Summoning Damage, and your Minions take 90% reduced damage.
- Aspect of the Great Feast: Gain 30-45% Summoning damage, but each active Minion drains 1 Essence from you per second. If you have no active Minions, you gain 30-45% increased damage instead and lose 7 Essence per second.
Seasonal Powers
Necromancers also have access to seasonal powers that affect their minions. Here are the Seasonal powers to use and how they work.
- Soul Harvest: Feed upon the life force of nearby enemies whenever you use a skill with a cooldown, increasing your primary stat by 3% per monster for X seconds. When you reach Rank 9, Soul Harvest does not lose duration as long as enemies are nearby.
- Grow: After casting an Ultimate Skill, your Servants, Minions, and Companions are empowered with dark magics. Growing more significant in size and dealing X bonus damage. It will last 15 seconds. When you reach Rank 11, Servers, minions, and Companions gain 100% of the Critical Hit Chance while enlarged.
- Breath of the Coven: Dealing damage or applying a Crowd Control effect with any of your Witchcraft Effects increases your Attack Speed by X for 10 Seconds, stacking once per unique Witchcraft Effect. When you reach Rank 9, you gain a 40% chance of getting a Lucky Hit while bonuses from Eldritch, Psyche, Growth & Decay are active at once.
- Hex Specialization: Increase the potency of your Hex Effects by X. When you reach Rank 10, it increases the Critical Strike Chance by 10% against enemies afflicted by your Hex Effects.
Seasonal Occult Gems
Seasonal Occult Gems provide players with 160 Armor and 8% Resist All. Here are the Occult Gems to use for your Necromancer class and Minions.
- Killing Wind: While you have three or more Eldritch Witch Powers slotted, gain 25% Movement Speed and 15% Critical Strike Chance.
- Spiral Coin: While you have three or more Psyche Witch Powers slotted, gain 30% Control Duration and 20% Lucky Hit Chance.
- Cornucopia: While you have three or more Growth/Decay Witch Powers slotted, you generate 30% more Barrier, gain 30% more Fortify, and have 30% more Thorns.
- Vulture Talon: While an Aura is active, you deal Damage Over Time 50% faster.
- Pointed Finger: Your Summons deal 15% more direct damage to Hexed Elites.
- Vile Phylactery: While you have a Witch Power with the Summon tag slotted, if you would take fatal damage, instead prevent that damage. Then gain a Barrier equal to 100% of your Maximum Life and disable your Witchcraft Powers with the Summon tag for 6 seconds. The effect can only occur once every 75 seconds.
- Friend of the Bog: While you have three or more Growth & Decay Witch Powers slotted, you gain 10% primary stat and 10% Maximum Life and are always Unhindered.
- Moonlight Ward: For each rank in your slotted Unique Witchcraft Power, you gain 3% Damage Reduction and 0.5% Maximum Resistance to All Elements.
- Dust Stone: For each of your Auras and Hexes an enemy is afflicted by, they take 2.5% increased damage from you.
