CSGO Release notes
Stewie2k latest CS:GO pro to set sights on Valorant
Evil Geniuses' Jake 'Stewie2k' Yip has been the talk of the town following his recent announcement that he was ending his time as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro player to pursue streaming with the aforementioned esports organisation. While that might lead you to believe that the 24-year old was finished with competitive gaming altogether, you'd be wrong. During a Twitch stream on August 11, just over two weeks after his retirement, Stewie2k revealed his ambitious plans to compete professionally at the top level of Valorant esports, even adding that he wouldn't be put off if there wasn't any initial interest from teams.
'Every day I'll be on stream. I'll be grinding ranked, [and] I'll be trying to get into scrims', Stewie2k revealed defiantly. 'LCQ happens, Champions will happen, [then] off-season comes, [and] franchising comes... Even if I miss franchising, I'm down to keep streaming - watch and be the student of the game - and then get picked up.'
Following on from this, Stewie2k added a hopeful 'we'll see how it pans out' in regards to his upcoming attempts to get into a Valorant esports team in time for the start of 2023's partnered, region-based league - a system akin to Riot Games' League of Legends LEC and LCS competitions.
The solution to CS:GO's problems is s1mple, he says
We know it's all too easy to blame the game itself when something isn't quite going your way, but if you're struggling to win in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, you might find that it actually is the game that's part of the reason behind that. Valve doesn't update CSGO all too often and when it does the community always finds out there's more than one major issue unresolved. Of course, it's hard to fix a game with so many moving parts, but it looks like pro player Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev has had enough of waiting around to see his beloved shooter fixed. S1mple has put the developers on blast with claims that he could fix CSGO with a 'few millions'.
Following a CSGO update that temporarily stripped players of their ranks in-game, S1mple took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the current state of the game - and it's safe to say that he is less than happy with how things are going.
To summarise, s1mple has stated that with a 'few millions', he would be able to improve Valve's shooter, 'not only professionally, but also for players who rarely log in [to CSGO] and want to enjoy the game'. In his social media post on the matter, he reiterated that he was 'not kidding' - adding that he would be able to improve player numbers at the very least.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update for 9 August 2022
One of the most played first person shooter to date, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is still going strong. Released back in 2012 by their developer Hidden Path Entertainment and Valve (also publishing the game), CS:GO is still popular with more than half a million players playing at peak hours in 2017. With two teams (Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists), trying to wipe each other or doing the first objective of the map, this game mode never gets old and is still loved by many FPS players.
If the statistics don'tconvince you about CS:GO's popularity, then take a look at the professional games scene. Esports tournaments are held in different regions of the world with sponsored teams cross the oceans just to compete, along with prizes that reach up to a million dollars.
CS:GO Stats Tracker
With how fast and intense every game CS:GO is, there are hundreds, thousands, or perhaps a million games in your account. Well, that might have been an exaggeration but not impossible. Assuming that you have been playing every single day ever since launch, you would have incurred many games. It doesn't mean with your countless game count that you cannot keep track of your CS stats. How many have you killed? What is your overall kill count? How accurate are you? Which weapon are you most comfortable with? All of these stats, whether you played many CS:GO matches, can still be tracked thanks to PlayerAuctions?CS:GO Player Stats Tracker!
Our Tool can help you check all of the Counter Strike Stats that you need to know. It's as easy as just putting your Steam ID and clicking 'Submit'. Yes, it's that simple! After the CS:GO tracker search for your statistics, there are various menus to choose. In fact, you'll get welcomed by your Overview Stats, which includes your data in your CS:GO career. The statistics in the page are simplified so that you can have a quick overview of what you have done throughout your play time. Your Kill to Death Ratio, Accuracy Percentage, Win Percentage and Headshot Percentage can easily see on the overview page. Other general stats are viewable, including the weapon you are best.
The next page is all about your weapon usage and stats. You can see all of the weapons that you used, arranged from the highest kill count to the lowest. Aside from the kills per weapon, the number of hits and shots fired are also indicated and of course, your accuracy for each weapon. It's helpful because when the game is on the line, you can distinguish which weapon to buy. On the other hand, you can pinpoint the weapon you should improve too. Yes, it's always a great challenge to bring those statistics higher, don't you think?
In the maps tab, you can view your CSGO statistics on the different maps you played. The number of rounds won over the number of rounds played is indicated on the page for every map. Of course, the win percentage for every map is available. It can tell you the map that you are familiar with and where you win the most with that familiarity. You can also put into consideration that you have a lack of experience from certain maps and therefore, attempt to play games in the areas of improvement.
The next three tabs are self-explanatory (Achievements, Friends, and Rankings). Achievements are where you can see which unusual feat you did. The friend's tab will let you view all your friends in the game, along with comparing your stats to theirs. In the rankings, you should get registered as a PlayerAuctions CS:GO player to become included in the list. You can also compare yourself with other CS:GO players from our community.
The CS:GO Stats Tracker is essential if you want to know how well you're doing in the game. Our tool is helpful in your quest to improve in CS:GO. Now, don't be left out, type in your Steam ID and see your CS:GO Stats today.
