CS2 Knife Commands

CS2 Knife Commands

Every CS2 player wishes to have a pretty sick-looking knife in the game, but not all can afford them since they just feel too expensive to spend money on. So if you want to enjoy some karambit or any sort of butterfly knife in the game, you’ll have to throw some bucks at Valve. But what about those people who simply cannot afford to spend such a hefty fee?

If you’re one of those people, we come at you with the bearer of good news. The devs at Valve are letting you use any premium knife skin you want by just typing in its command. So what are these commands, and how can you use them? Dive in as we explain each and every nitty gritty aspect you should know about these commands!

What Are Knife Commands In CS2

Knife Commands are a way you can get rid of the standard knife you’re given in CS2 and get yourself a fancy one that otherwise would cost real money. However, Valve only allows you to use them in custom matches since if everyone started using them in PVP game modes, it would be unfair to the people who’ve invested their money in the game.

So whether you want to test out a knife to see if it fits your style to purchase in the future or you want to experience how it feels having a premium one, follow our steps. You’ll first need to create a custom lobby.

How To Use Knife Commands

If you’ve never created a Custom Game in CS2, there’s no need to worry. Just follow these easy steps:

  1. Open CS2 and Press the Play button.
  2. Click on the dropdown menu icon next to “Official Matchmaking.”
  3. Select Practice with Bots.

After you’re done creating a game, here’s how you can use knife commands through the console in CS2:

  1. Open the Options panel.
  2. Go to the Game Settings.
  3. Enable the Developer Console.
  4. Load a match.
  5. Use the default hotkey (~) for the Developer Console.
  6. After the console is opened, type in type sv_cheats 1. This command will enable cheats.
  7. Then type mp_drop_knife_enable 1 to drop your knife in order to pick the fancy ones that will respawn.
  8. Then type in the knife command in the console.
