How to Get Other Fruits in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

There are a bunch of ways to get the other fruits that aren’t native to a player’s island. One is to go to some mystery islands. On a mystery island, players are bound to discover different types of flora and fauna there that they can take back to their island. They can do so using a mid-tier shovel; however, they first have to consume some fruit to have the strength to completely remove the tree and put it in their inventory. Another alternative is to simply shake the trees and wait for the fruits to fall off. Most trees have three fruits that are hanging off the branches. Players can plant these fruits back on their island with a shovel and water them using a watering can. After some time, small branches will begin to stick out until the fruit finally becomes a full-fledged tree that can bear that specific fruit that was planted.

Another way to get the other fruits is by visiting a friend or two’s island that has a different fruit than theirs. In doing so, players can ask permission if they can shake some trees from their friend’s island to gather some fruit and plant it on their island. Players can also trade their native fruits to others so that both gain mutual benefit from the visit. Checking in a friend’s Nook’s Cranny is also a great way to get some fruit, but they’ll have to spend some Bells for it.

The Importance of Animal Crossing Flowers

Each player in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a flower native to their island. Once they’ve managed to unlock the ladder and pole, this will let players gain access to the deeper parts of the island. They’ll be able to see which type of flower is native to their island near the cliffs. Flowers in the game need constant watering either from the rain or the use of a watering can, so there’s a bit of maintenance to it when it comes to caring for them. Much like in the past Animal Crossing games, crossbreeding is possible where players can create hybrid types of flowers and colors that one can’t find from the seedlings that are for sale in Nook’s Cranny. The importance of flowers in New Horizons lies in the fact that players need to have more than just a bed of it to get a better rating of their island. Having a 5-star rating on their island is every player’s endgame.
